Why India's Agni 6 Missile is Unique

 

DNQ Special : While India's Agni-6 program is a source of fascination due to allegations that the new missile might have an unusually large range, how can it travel several thousand kilometers? 

The answer is rocket propulsion, staging, ballistic trajectories and atmospheric re-entry. Agni-6 is widely reported to have a potential range of around 8,000–12,000 km, although its final operational range remains unconfirmed.
