Mumbai-based start-up Techno Defence Pvt Ltd has developed an indigenous Joule-Thomson (JT) cooler for infrared missile seekers with support from the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), potentially reducing India’s dependence on foreign suppliers for a highly specialised defence technology.
